Summary: Good location for going into East Linton, Haddington and Edinburgh. We used this farmhouse as a base for house hunting during our stay using it like our home; cooking on the wonderful Aga (what a treat!), enjoying meals around the large dining table and retreating to the living room with a good book, a fire and drinks. The rooms are nicely appointed as are the bathrooms equipped with nice overhead rain and handheld shower heads. Never used the footed tub but it looked lovely. Nice forest walk on the property and the wild flower meadow nearby but the area lacks public rights-of-ways path to the local villages which requires walking the roads. We had a lot of rain showers during our stay and the farmhouse offered a cozy retreat. All in all a great stay for us and we highly recommend.
